Introduction to the Virtual FoxPro User Group

What is the Virtual FoxPro User Group?

The VFUG is an international FoxPro user group on line around the clock, 7 days a-week.

VFUG is a not for profit organization for FoxPro/Visual FoxPro enthusiatics; A place to exchange views/info/tips, a place where you can find answers to your questions from FoxPro experts and developer from all over the world.  VFUG empowers the FoxPro community and serves as a main repository for FoxPro "know-how".

Who is VFUG for?

VFUG is for VFP/FP Developers/Analysts/Project Leaders and more; if you work with FoxPro as a development tool, VFUG is for you. In today's world you don't always have time to attend UG meetings, or you might not even have a UG in your region. VFUG comes to you - right here at your fingertips - fully on-line and offers you all the benefits of being a member of a User Group and more. For example, in VFUG you have one of the biggest VFP FAQs on the net, a big (and growing) tips and tricks section, on-line lectures and meetings, a monthly newsletter featuring technical articles, etc. In VFUG you will find thousands of other professionals who, like you, chose FoxPro as their development platform. Best of all -- membership is absolutely free (and always will be).

Attention software/hardware Vendors

If you are a software/hardware vendor you might be interested in our special vendor program.

Why do I need an account?

There are several reasons for that. First of all, VFUG is not just a free resource. It is a User Group and as such we need to have some information on our members. Also registration and passwords help us keep out spammers (etc.) out.

Who Is Responsible For VFUG?

VFUG currently has six officers who donate their time (and money) to keep this site running on a daily basis. However, much of our content comes from our members. Further, our sponsor, RedTile, Inc.,also supports VFUG.

How Can I Help?
